McGrath Pitches Hoosac Valley Baseball to Victory

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Keagan McGrath struck out nine and scattered seven hits Friday to pitch the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 7-1 win over Gateway.

 

McGrath also went 1-for-2 and scored a pair of runs for the Hurricanes.

 

Hoosac Valley got two hits apiece from John Krol, Chris Larabee, Jack Sniezek and Sam Larabee in a 12-hit attack. Krol drove in three runs and doubled.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-4) takes a two-game winning streak into Monday’s home game against Lee.
