Monson Tops Hoosac Valley Baseball Team

DALTON, Mass. -- Ryan Nodell went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs Saturday to lead the Monson baseball team to a 10-4 win over Hoosac Valley in the consolation game of the Wahconah Tournament.

 

Keagan McGrath went 2-for-3 with a double, and Devin Kogut and Noah Matrigali each drove in a run for the Hurricanes.

 

McGrath also went five innings on the mound to take the decision.

 

The Hurricanes (1-3) host Monument Mountain on Monday at 1 p.m. to kick off a busy school vacation week of four games in five days.
