Blake 5-for-5, Homers Twice in Taconic Blowout

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Evan Blake Tuesday went 5-for-5 with two of Taconic’s four home runs and seven RBIs in a 24-0, five-inning win over Agawam.

 

Sam Sherman also homered and hit a pair of doubles. Christian Salzarulo homered, and Nick Guachione had two doubles in a 20-hit Thunder attack.

 

Blake also chipped in by pitching a 1-2-3 top of the fifth after Matt Lee struck out 11 and walked none while allowing no hits in four innings of work.

 

Taconic (12-1) hosts Wahconah on Friday.
