Lazits, Blake Lead Taconic Past Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Anton Lazits went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs Sunday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 21-0 win over Mount Everett.

 

Evan Blake doubled twice in a 3-for-5 afternoon and drove in six runs.

 

Sam Sherman earned a complete-game, five-inning, three-hit win, striking out eight and walking just one.

 

Jacob TenBroeck, Kolby Bleau and Nathaniel Van Ruden each had a hit for the Eagles.

 

Mount Everett goes to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.

 

Taconic (7-0) goes to Drury on Monday.
