Blake, Lazits Power Taconic Baseball Past Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Evan Blake went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double Thursday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 10-0 win over Wahconah.

 

Blake drove in a pair of runs.

 

Bo Bramer, Anton Lazits, Brendan Stannard and Matt Lee each doubled in the win.

 

Lazits also struck out 14 while allowing no hits and one walk in a five-inning, complete game win.

 

Colby Kirchner went the distance on the hill for Wahconah.

 

Wahconah (0-3) goes to Monument Mountain on Saturday.

 

Taconic (3-0) is at Mount Greylock on Monday.
