Pope Francis Baseball Edges Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Brian Campbell went 2-for-2, and Damon Wesley struck out five in 4-⅔ innings to lead the Pope Francis baseball team to a 4-1 win over Taconic on Thursday.

 

Austin Rachiele went 3-for-4, and Dylan Burke had an RBI for Taconic.

 

Mitchell DeCelles took the loss on the mound, going 5-⅔ innings. Michael Kays pitched 1-⅓ innings of scoreless relief.

 

Taconic (9-4) goes to Hoosac Valley on Friday.
