Taconic Knocks Off Wahconah

PITTSFIED, Mass. -- Izaiya Mestre struck out six over six innings of work to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 5-2 win over Wahconah on Saturday afternoon.

 

Taconic used a four-run fifth inning to erase a 2-1 deficit and win its second in three games.

 

Wahconah (13-4) will take on Monument Mountain on Monday in Great Barrington.

 

Taconic (5-8) will play Hoosac Valley on Wednesday in Cooperstown, N.Y.
