Taconic Baseball Falls to Minnechaug

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ryan Atkin went 4-for-5 with three RBIs Saturday to lead the Minnechaug baseball team to an 11-3 win over Taconic.

 

The visitors scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 7-1 lead and never looked back.

 

Eddie Ferris led Taconic at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run.

 

Christian Salzarulo doubled in a run for the Thunder.

 

Taconic used three different pitchers in the loss. Starter Ethan O’Donnell took the loss, going four innings on the mound.

 

Taconic (10-6) goes to West Springfield on Monday.
