Minnechaug Baseball Tops Taconic in Eight Innings

WILBRAHAM, Mass. – Nick Disa drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth Monday to give the Minnechaug baseball team a 6-5 win over Taconic.

 

Jake Lowe and John Fitzgerald combined to strike out 13 and allow two earned runs in the win.

 

Gavin O’Donnell led Taconic’s offense, going 2-for-4 with a triple and a pair of RBIs. Damon Pause doubled and scored a run.

 

Quentin Christopher, O’Donnell and Pause split time on the mound for the Thunder, allowing just two earned runs.

 

Taconic (5-2) plays Pittsfield at Buddy Pellerin Field on Thursday.
