Guachione, Lee Lead Taconic Past Westfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Nick Guachione went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and two RBIs Friday to help the Taconic baseball team to an 11-1 win over Westfield.

 

Matt Lee went 4-for-5 with three RBIs, and Damon Pause was 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs.

 

Quentin Christopher struck out four and scattered four hits in a complete-game, six-inning performance on the mound.

 

Taconic ended the game with four runs in the bottom of the sixth.

 

The Thunder (13-1) goes to West Springfield on Monday.
