Pause, Thunder Shut Out Minnechaug

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Damon Pause struck out 11 and scattered three hits Tuesday to pitch the Taconic baseball team to a 4-0 win over Minnechaug.

 

Pause walked just one in the complete-game win.

 

He also helped his cause by doubling in a run in a six-hit Thunder attack.

 

Matt Lee and Antonio Scalise also doubled with an RBI, and Quentin Christopher went 1-for-2  at the plate.

 

Taconic (10-1) hosts Pope Francis on Wednesday.
