McCann Tech Baseball Tops Franklin Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ozzie Weber went 3-for-3 with a double, and Aaron Livsey pitched the McCann Tech baseball team to a 10-9 win over Franklin Tech on Friday.

 

The Hornets scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead, 10-7, and Livsey limited Franklin Tech two unearned runs in the last two innings to hold on for the win.

 

He struck out four and walked one while allowing just three unearned runs in 3-⅔ innings of work. Collin Booth started and 3-⅓, allowing three earned runs.

 

Austin Buda tripled, and Landon Champney went 2-for-3 with a double in an 11-hit McCann Tech attack.

 

The Hornets (8-3) go to Mount Greylock on Saturday.
