Blondin Pitches McCann Tech to League Title-Clinching Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jared Blondin struck out 14 on Wednesday night to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 9-1 win over Gateway as the Hornets claimed the championship of the Tri-County North league.

 

Blondin walked just one and scattered three hits in the complete-game win at Joe Wolfe Field.

 

Caleb Rondeau went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, and Logan Briggs was 2-for-4 with a double.

 

Blondin helped his cause with a 2-for-3 night and a pair of RBIs.

 

McCann Tech (14-4) takes a five-game winning streak into Friday's home game against Pathfinder.
