Rondeau Delivers Walkoff RBI for McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Caleb Rondeau lined a two-out single to right to drive in Keeghan Vidal and give the McCann Tech baseball team a 3-2, walkoff win over Sci-Tech on Friday.

 

Vidal started the winning rally in the bottom of the seventh with a two-out walk.

 

He then stole second and Owen Gagne worked a walk to bring up Rondeau, who made a winner of Dalton Tatro.

 

Tatro went the distance on the mound, striking out 10, walking three and scattering four hits.

 

Vidal also drove in a run for the Hornets in a two-run fifth that erased an early 2-0 Sci-Tech lead.

 

Jeremy Beany and Tatro each scored a run, and Jared Blondin went 1-for-3 at the plate in a two-hit McCann Tech attack.

 

McCann Tech (3-2) hosts Lee on Monday.
