Matte Goes the Distance in McCann Tech Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Robert Matte III Struck out nine to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 6-3 win over Westfield Tech on Wednesday night at Joe Wolfe Field.

 

Matte scattered four hits in the complete-game win.

 

Michael Ferrara went 2-for-4 and stole four bases, and Logan Tower went 2-for-2 with two RBIs for the Hornets, who got a double from Jacob Field.

 

McCann Tech (15-4) wraps up the regular season on Friday against Wahconah.
