Ferrara Leads McCann Tech Baseball Past Smith Voc

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Michael Ferrara went 3-for-4 with a triple and five runs batted in Thursday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 21-1 win over Smith Vocational.

 

Brad Tatro went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, and Logan Tower was 3-for-5 with a double in McCann’s 16-hit attack.

 

Robert Matte III earned the win, allowing one run in four innings of work in a game shortened to five innings. William Bohl struck out one in one inning of no-hit relief.

 

McCann Tech (9-3) travels to face Westfield Tech on Friday afternoon.
