Field Keys McCann Tech Offense in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Jacob Field drove in a run and scored on a wild pitch, and Caleb Rondeau pitched 4-⅔ shutout innings Monday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 2-1 win over Commerce.

 

Field had both McCann Tech hits, including the won that drove home Logan Tower after he reached on a walk.

 

Rondeau struck out seven while walking five and allowing just two hits before giving the ball to William Bohl, who allowed just an unearned run in 2-⅓ innings of relief.

 

McCann Tech (5-3) goes to Westfield Tech on Tuesday.
