Guyette Homers as McCann Wins Big on Road

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Connor Guyette went 3-for-4 with a home run and four runs batted in Friday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 17-2 win over Pioneer Valley Christian.

 

The Hornets (5-2) pounded out 17 hits, including three apiece from Bradley Tatro and Logan Tower. Tatro hit a pair of doubles, and Jacob Field tripled.

 

Mason Field went the distance on the mound in a game shortened to six innings. He struck out five.

 

McCann Tech takes a three-game winning streak into Tuesday’s game at Westfield Tech.
