Matte Pitches McCann Tech Past Sci Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Robert Matte III struck out nine in six innings of work Thursday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 10-4 win over Sci Tech.

 

Matte also went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs at the plate for the Hornets (2-1), who won their second straight game.

 

Caleb Rondeau went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and a pair of stolen bases, and Mason Field went 2-for-2.

 

McCann Tech hosts Smith Vocational on Tuesday.
