Barrett Pitches Hornets Past Mahar

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ty Barrett struck out seven in a complete-game effort on the mound Friday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 9-2 win over Mahar.

 

Lukas Rylander went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in a nine-hit attack for the Hornets.

 

Nick Gilman was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Troy Tassone drove in two runs.

 

McCann Tech (8-3) is back at home on Joe Wolfe Field on Monday to face Turners Falls.
