Woronick, Dondiego Lead Wahconah Baseball Past Drury
DALTON, Mass. — Joe Woronick went 3-for-3 and scored three times, and the Wahconah baseball team Friday scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth en route to a 13-3 win over Drury.
Anthony Dondiego went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in an 11-hit Wahconah attack.
The big damage came in the fifth, after Drury scored twice in the top of the frame to make it a 4-2 game.
Jake Gai’s two-run double keyed that Wahconah rally.
Caden Frazier went the distance on the mound to earn the win, striking out 11.
Drury got a 2-for-4 day at the plate from Conor Clark, who doubled and drove in a run. Jacob Brayman drove in a pair.
Drury (6-9) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
Wahconah (6-6) is scheduled to go to Cardinal Spellman on Saturday.
