Drury Baseball Routs Athol

ATHOL, Mass. – Brayden Canales went 2-for-3 with five RBIs, and the Drury baseball team Thursday worked 18 walks in a 25-0 win over Athol.

 

The Blue Devils scored their 25 runs on just eight hits, including just one extra-base hit, a double from Jake McAllister.

 

Connor Hinkell and Brayden Durant split time on the mound. Hinkell stuck out eight and walked one while allowing one hit in four innings of work.

 

Durant allowed one hit and a walk in his inning.

 

The Blue Devils (3-0) are at Mount Greylock on Friday in a game originally scheduled to be played on Saturday.
