Drury Baseball Punches Tourney Ticket

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Colby Malloy went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs Tuesday as the Drury baseball team beat Lee, 14-1, to qualify for the Division 5 State Tournament.

 

Brayden Canales and Jake McAllister each doubled, and Jake Gladu went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in a 10-hit attack for the Blue Devils.

 

Gladu and J.J. Prenguber split time on the mound, striking out 11, walking five and allowing one hit.

 

Lee’s Mason Daley had that hit for the Wildcats and drove in their run in the top of the third to make it 5-1.

 

Lee (1-9) hosts Mahar on Friday.

 

Drury (10-4) plays McCann Tech at Joe Wolfe Field on Thursday.
