Lenox Boys Go 3-0 at BCC
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Samuel Gellar and Ben Harwood placed first and second, respectively, at BCC on Wednesday to lead the Lenox Memorial boys cross country team to a 3-0 record in duals at a four-team meet.
Gellar crossed the finish line in 17 minutes, 41 seconds, two seconds ahead of his teammate Harwood.
Mount Everett’s Ben Vella was just off the winning pace, finishing in 17:52, to help the Eagles edge Lee.
Taconic got a fourth-place finish from Alec Ginsberg and a sixth-place showing from Sam Tremblay to go 2-1 on the day, beating Lee and Mount Everett but falling to Lenox.
In the girls race, Lenox took the first seven places, led by Gianna Love with a time of 20:24, to easily win their two dual meets.
Lee’s Ava Lopez and Sophia Puntin placed eighth and ninth, respectively, to lead the Wildcats to a dual meet win over Taconic, which got a 13th-place finish from Mia Ives.
Mount Everett’s girls did not have enough girls to post a team score, but Abby Reiners finished 11th for the Eagles.
