Millionaires Top Taconic on Home Course

LENOX, Mass. – Mia Freeman carded a 5-over round of 41 Monday to tie for medalist honors and lead the Lenox golf team to a 174-178 win over Taconic at Wyndhurst.

 

Freeman birdied the third hole on her way to a tie for the day’s best round with Taconic’s Jason Fields, who picked up a birdie on the seventh.

 

Both teams scored four cards of 47 or lower on a day when the teams combined for five birdies.

 

Lenox’s Hunter Shepardson, like Freeman, birdied No. 3.

 

The Millionaires’ Michael Methe and the Thunder’s Simon Mele each birdied No. 9.
