Lenox's Elliot, Mount Greylock's Rogers Win at Notchview

WINDSOR, Mass. – Declan Rogers finished just more than a second ahead of the field on Saturday to lead the Mount Greylock boys Nordic team to victory at Notchview Reservation.

 

The Mounties were without some of their top performers but still earned a 20-point win against the field.

 

Patrick Holland, Knowl Stroud and Nathan Gill rounded out the scoring for the Mount Greylock boys.

 

Rogers was followed across the finish line by Hoosac Valley’s David Scholz, who finished second racing as an individual.

 

In the girls varsity race on Saturday, Lenox’s Jane Elliot placed first, edging Amherst’s River Wolaver by seven seconds.

 

Wolaver and the Hurricanes picked up a team win, beating Lenox’s girls by eight points.
