East Longmeadow Volleyball Tops Lenox

LENOX, Mass. -- Kelsey Kirchner had seven kills for the Lenox volleyball team in a three-set loss to East Longmeadow on Tuesday night.

 

Kirchner also recorded three blocks in the 25-20, 25-12, 25-22 loss.

 

Kelly Nicotra passed out 10 assists and notched five kills.

 

Hailey Armold had 10 digs, and Emily Barenski had eight digs to go with four aces.

 

"East Longmeadow had some strong servers and sometimes we were on the money with our passes, other times we passed it right back to them," Lenox coach Steve Laurin said. "Regardless, I'm very proud of how our team has improved since our last meeting with the Spartans."

 

Lenox is home Wednesday against Monument Mountain.
