Patel, Lenox Golfers Edge Mount Greylock

LENOX, Mass. -- Devin Patel tied for medalist honors with a 39 Monday to lead the Lenox golf team to a 170-176 win over Mount Greylock on Wyndhurst Golf Club.

 

Patel tied at 4-over-par with Mount Greylock's Owen Petropulos, who birdied three holes on the front nine.

 

Petropulos picked up birdies on Nos. 3, 4 and 9, the only player with multiple birdies on the day.

 

Patel birdied the ninth hole in leading the Millionaires (3-1), who scored rounds from Max Shepardson (43), Cliff Flynn (44) and Noah Kirby (44).

 

Mount Greylock got a 44 from Jacob Hillman and scored rounds from Ben Dingman (45) and Tommy Art (48).

 

Mount Greylock (2-3) hosts Mount Everett on Friday.

 

Lenox is at Monument Mountain on Thursday.
