Lenox Overcomes Strong Round by Taconic's Murphy

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ben Haddad and Max Shepardson Tuesday led the Lenox golf team to a 152-196 win over Taconic at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Taconic’s Nate Murphy took medalist honors, finishing at 2-under-par 35 33 after picking up birdies on the par-5 fourth and par-3 fifth.

 

Haddad also birdied the fifth hole. He and Shepardson were backed up by Devan Patel with a 38 and Max Digrigoli with a 40.

 

Taconic scored rounds from Cam LaFerriere (52), Mat Sottille (53) and Dom Hall (55).

 

Lenox goes to Mount Everett on Wednesday while Taconic hosts Mount Greylock.
