Pittsfield's Harrington, Lenox's Love Lead Way at Lenox XC Meet

LENOX, Mass. -- Pittsfield’s Kellie Harrington finished six seconds ahead of the field in a four-team field on Wednesday at Lenox.

 

Harrington crossed the line in 19 minutes, 31.96 seconds to edge Mount Greylock’s Grace Malone (19:37.17).

 

Lenox and Mount Greylock dominated the top 10 in the girls race.

 

The Millionaires’ Grace Elliot placed third in 19:42.62. She was followed by her teammates Alice Culver, Elyssa Scrimo and Julianne Harwood in fifth, eighth and 10th, respectively.

 

In addition to Malone, the Mounties placed Katherine Swann (fourth), Ainsley Abel (sixth) and Annie Art (ninth) in the top 10.

 

Lenox’s boys dominated their home meet, taking the top three places and five of the top eight.

 

Dennis Love placed first in a time of 17:23.20 to edge teammates Maxwell Adam (17:41.91) and Harry Touloukian.

 

Pittsfield’s Jack Archey was the first non-Lenox finisher, coming home in 17:56.01.

 

Mount Greylock’s Ollie Swabey (18:30.98) and Andrew Petropulos were fifth and sixth, respectively.
