Lenox Golfers Earn Win as Hoosac Valley's Cappiello Earns Medalist Honors

ADAMS, Mass. — Hoosac Valley's Ian Cappiello carded a 38 to take medalist honors, but the Lenox golf team earned a 168-186 win at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Max Digrigoli and Ben Haddad led the Millionaires with a 40 and a 41, respectively. Digrigoli carded his team's lone birdie on the fifth hole.

 

"It was a huge day for Ian Cappiello, who took medalist with a 38 and closing his round with a 25-foot birdie on the ninth," Hoosac Valley coach Jay Sniezek said. "I am very happy for him because he’s been working very hard at improving his game and it has paid off."

 

Corben Craig carded a 45 for the Hurricanes, who also scored rounds from Lucas Levesque (51) and Corey Charron (52).

 

Max Shepardson (43) and Devan Patel (44) scored for Lenox.
