Hayden, Lenox Golfers Top Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. -- Brendan Hayden carded a 6-over-par 42 Tuesday to earn medalist honors and lead the Lenox golf team to a 172-200 win over Wahconah on the back nine at Wahconah Country Club.

 

Ben Haddad (43), Max Shepardson (43) and Max Digrigoli (44) rounded out the scoring for the Millionaires. Haddad started his round with a birdie on the 10th hole.

 

“The Lenox golf team played a very poised and steady golf match,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “A score of 172 on the back nine is outstanding. … They are a well-coached team and conduct themselves in a very professional manner.”

 

Dan Wilson closed his round with a birdie on No. 18 to finish with Wahconah’s low round of 43. Pat McLaughlin (50), Mike Cullett (52) and Caden Frazier (55) rounded out the scoring for Wahconah.
