Yee Leads Lenox Boys' 1-2-3 Sweep at Wahconah Cross Country Meet

DALTON, Mass. -- Ted Yee led a 1-2-3 finish for the Lenox boys on Wednesday as the Millionaires earned a dual meet win over host Wahconah in a four-team meet.

 

Yee finished in 16 minutes, 48.17 seconds, a little more than four seconds ahead of teammate Colin Young. Max Adam completed the sweep of the top three spots for Lenox.

 

Wahconah’s Hayden Kendell was fourth in 17:02.52.

 

Fifth place belonged to Mount Greylock eighth-grader Ollie Swabey, who finished in 17:15.73 to lead the Mounties to victory against Mount Everett.

 

The Eagles’ Cole Duval finished sixth in 17:28.75.

 

The girls dual meets had the same results, with Lenox and Mount Greylock winning handily against Wahconah and Mount Everett, respectively.

 

The Mounties’ Katherine Swann finished first in 19:09.57, about 10 seconds ahead of Lenox’s Grace Elliott (19:19.59).

 

Wahconah’s Haley Crosier was third (19:33.97). First across the line for Mount Everett was Kathryn Cohen in 27:08.28.
