King Leads Pittsfield Girls Swimming to Win
NEW LEBANON, N.Y. — Hannah King won the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle to lead the Pittsfield girls swimming team to a 61-33 win over New Lebanon on Tuesday.
King clocked a time of 2 minutes, 48.6 seconds in the 200 and finished the 500 in 6:45.1.
For New Lebanon, Gigi French set a school record in winning the 100 butterfly in 1:13.9.
In the boys meet, Pittsfield won, 71-7, behind double winners Greg Fournier and Lucas Godwin.
Fournier won the 200 free in 2:10.8 and the 100 breast stroke in 1:16.2. Godwin won the 200 individual medley in 2:31.3 and the 100 back in 1:07.8.
Pittsfield swims against St. Joseph on Friday at the Boys and Girls Club.
