Pittsfield Golfers Edge Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ricky Berrian earned medalist honors with a 37 and led the Pittsfield golf team to a one-stroke win over Taconic on Friday afternoon.

 

Berrian picked up one birdie on the way to a three-stroke win on the individual leaderboard. Taconic's Mike Kays carded a 40 to finish second.

 

Team-wise, Berrian and the Generals finished with 167 strokes to Taconic's 168.

 

Also scoring for Pittsfield were Kevin Quinto (42), Connor McDonough (43) and Jake Driscoll (45).

 

Taconic's scorers included Kyle Rochelo (41, Brett Murphy (43) and Ross Omelenchuck (44).

 

Taconic hosts East Longmeadow on Monday, as PHS hosts Hoosac Valley.
