WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Pittsfield High golf team saw all six players score in the 40s on Tuesday as the Generals won a battle of unbeatens at Waubeeka Golf Links.

Ricky Berrian carded a 6-over round of 41 on Waubeeka's back nine to lead the way as Pittsfield (4-0) defeated Mount Greylock (5-1), 172-186.

Berrian has been a leader this fall for Pittsfield, but he played out of the No. 3 position on Monday, teeing off with teammate Justin Martin in a foursome with the Mounties' Kyle Alvarez and Lilly Crolius.

"He plays well at three," Pittsfield coach Chris Polidoro said. "I don't know why. I've moved him around a little bit, and his best round was a 34 when he was in third. I'll probably keep him in that spot.

"I'm kind of figuring who's playing well with each other. He plays really well with Justin, and Jake [Driscoll] plays well with Kevin [Quinto]."

Driscoll and Quinto went off in the first group, and Quinto backed up Barrian with a 42. Justin Martin and Conor McDonough also scored for Pittsfield with rounds of 43 and 46, respectively.

Martin and Berrian each earned a birdie on Tuesday -- Berrian on the tricky 305-yard, par 4 13th hole and Martin on the 155-yard, par 3 14th.

Mount Greylock's Matt Wiseman also birdied No. 14 on the way to earning medalist honors with a 4-over 39.

But that was the end of the good news for the Mounties as its next three scorers came in at 45 or higher.

"I guess you'd rather have the bad day with everybody all at once, which we did," Mount Greylock coach Brian Gill said.

"We didn't make mental mistakes. We were just bad. Physical mistakes. We didn't play well. There's nothing you can do about that."

On his way off the course, Gill already was looking forward to getting his MOunties back on the course on Thursday at Lee.

"You can be disappointed, sure, but the beautiful thing about golf -- or any sport, really -- is that there's always another day," Gill said. "The next day, right back to form, and we go from there."

Pittsfield hosts St. Joseph on Wednesday. The Generals will entertain Mount Greylock in a rematch on Oct. 14.
