Pittsfield Boys 16th at D5 State Meet
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Aidan D’Aniello placed third in the pentathlon and the javelin to lead the Pittsfield Generals to a 16th-place finish at the Division 5 Track and Field State Championships at Bridgewater State.
D’Aniello also teamed up with Dominique Billups Seth Aitken and Owen Klatka to place eighth in the 4-by-400 relay.
Klatka earned points for Pittsfield in the high jump, where he cleared 6 feet to tie Taconic’s Logan Soule for eighth place.
Pittsfield’s Elias Robinson also cleared 6 feet in the event and placed third, matching the bronze medal he took home in the long jump.
Taconic’s boys, who placed 25th in the team standings, got a fifth-place finish on Saturday from Elijah Harewood in the 100 meters.
The two-day D5 meet began on Friday.
