Pittsfield Volleyball Downs Taconic in Four Sets

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Adam Quinto had four aces Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield volleyball team to a four-set win over Taconic.

 

Quinto also had nine assists for the Generals, who prevailed, 25-23, 18-25, 25-11, 25-10.

 

Hannah Wheeler had four aces and seven digs, and Jasmyn Roark Somelgall had five kills in the win.

 

Taconic got seven kills and a pair of blocks from Kacie Chadwell. Sara Conroy had 16 digs, and Tori Tynan had 10 assists, three digs and a pair of aces.

 

Pittsfield hosts Mount Greylock on Friday while Taconic goes to Monument Mountain.
