Pittsfield Boys, Girls Swim to Victory at New Lebanon

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Conor Mooney won the 100-meter freestyle and 100 backstroke to lea the Pittsfield boys swim team to a 65-21 win over New Lebanon on Wednesday.

 

Mooney took the 100 free in 57.45 seconds and won the 100 back in 1:13.97.

 

Mooney also teamed with Isaac Boyd, Matt Miller and Hayden Plouffe to win the 200 medley relay in 1:59.80.

 

Pittsfield’s girls won their dual against the Tigers, 64-26.

 

Szofia Lewis won the 50 free (27.84) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.46).

 

Jordan Bradford also won a pair of events, taking the 200 free (2:13.88) and 500 free (5:59.69).

 

Bradford and Lewis teamed with Madeline Coco and Meagan Ellis to win the 200 medley relay in 2:13.92.

 

Pittsfield is off until it goes to Vermont to swim against Mount Anthony Union on Jan. 4.
