BOSTON, Mass. -- Monument Mountain senior Brandon Louison posted a third- and fourth-place finish at Sunday's Division 1 State Swimming and Diving Championships.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Louison finished third in 53.30 seconds, shaving .38 seconds off his seed time but finishing behind Central Catholic's Drew Carbone, who set a meet record with a 49.34.

The 100 freestyle also saw a meet record set when Acton-Boxborough's Corben Miles touched in 45.62. Louision finished fourth in 47.87, bettering his seed time that time by .39 seconds.

Louison also swam on a couple of relays for the Spartans.

In the 400 free relay, he teamed with Mazy Moeini, Ben Wyatt and Nick Gray to finish seventh.

In the 200 medley relay, Louison, Wyatt, Gray and Moeini were fourth in the state, swimming a time of 1:39.05, a half second faster than Monument's seed time but not enough to catch state champion Chelmsford (1:36.28).
