Spartan Boys, Girls Win in Pool

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Benjamin Wyatt and Brandon Louison were double winners to lead the Monument Mountain boys swimming team to a 65-20 win over New Lebanon on Friday.
 
Wyatt won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 10.9 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:11.9.
 
Louison won the 100 butterfly (:57.1) and the 100 breast stroke (1:06.2).
 
Zachary Shepard won the free (27.6) for New Lebanon.
 
Six different Monument Mountain girls won individual events as the Spartans rolled to a 68-24 win.
 
Grace Phair (200 free), Caroline Bissaillon (200 medley), Aubrey Blanchard (50 free), Emma Wilber (100 fly), Anna Rubino (100 free) and Kate Nourse (100 back) each earned a win.
 
Gigi French won the 100 breast stroke for New Lebanon, finishing in 1:21.9.
