Iusco, Kline Lead County Contingent at Central/Western Mass

Iusco has a seed time of 5 minutes, 12.01 seconds in the event. Grafton's Braedon Ando is seeded first at 4:42.82.
Iusco also is seeded seventh in the 200 free.
Monument Mountain's boys have relay quartets qualified in all three relays, the 200 medley relay, 4-by-100 and 4-by-50.
Joining Iusco as individuals at the state sectional are Vincent Dragonetti (50 free and 100 free), Reece Faggioni (50 free and 100 butterfly) and Isaac Schultze (50 free),
Pittsfield's boys have one qualifier in two events in the meet.
Joseph Kearns is the 15th seed in the 100-yard freestyle and is seeded 33rd in the 50 free.
The boys meet is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start on Sunday, after the conclusion of the girls Central/Western Mass sectional at 9:30 a.m.
Monument Mountain, the reigning Berkshire County League North Champions in both boys and girls, also is well represented in the girls meet.
Keaghan Kline is the top medal contender on the girls side with a No. 4 seed in the 100 butterfly.
Kline's seed time is 1:03.43. She will be chasing Longmeadow's Lilah Doherty, the only swimmer in the field with a sub-minute time this winter, 58.41.
Kline also qualified in the 50 free and likely will swim on Monument Mountain's 200 free relay and 400 free relay quartets.
Joining her at the meet at Spartan teammates Helen Thorp (200 free and 100 backstroke), Adalyn Shufelt (200 individual medley) and Annabel Holmes (50 free, 100 free).
Pittsfield's Maggie Vittum qualified for the sectional in the 50 free and the 100 back.
She is joined in the backstroke field by Wahconah's Victoria Lattizzori.
