Codey Leads Taconic Golfers to Narrow Win over Spartans

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Jason Codey Tuesday carded a 42 at Wyantenuck Country Club to lead the Taconic golf team to a 184-186 win over Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans Gregory Kay earned medalist honors with a 40.

 

Taconic saw five golfers finish in the 40s on a day when it gave its seniors a chance to shine in the regular season finale.

 

“All four of our seniors were in the lineup today for our final regular season match,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “We are looking forward to preparing for the Western Mass Division I tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Chicopee Country Club.”
