Monument Mountain Boys, Girls Win Season Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield Eliza Mullen returned to the Berkshire County League after competing at a ski academy the last couple of years and earned a three-second win over the field in the opening slalom race of the season at Bousquet.

 

She helped the Generals finish second in the team standings.

 

Monument Mountain’s girls won the opening meet’s team title after taking fifth through eighth places. Loghan Strzepa led the way for the Spartans.

 

Lenox’s girls placed third as Maddie DiGrigoli and Ella Hall finished second and third.

 

Monument Mountain also took the boys team title. Kitson Stover led the way, placing third as an individual.

 

Wahconah’s Mitchell Scalise and Taconic’s Keeghen Scott finished second and third, respectively.

 

Lenox’s Michael Piretti finished fourth to help the Millionaires place second in the team standings.

 

Pittsfield’s boys were third, behind an 11th-place showing from Renee Cook-Dubin.
