Kay Leads Monument Golfers Past Lee

LEE, Mass. – Greg Kay carded a 42 on Tuesday to earn medalist honors and lead the Monument Mountain golf team to a 179-190 win over Lee at Greenock Country Club.

 

Kay led four Spartans in the 40s. Paul Naventi (43), Liam Trask (45) and Eli Baruch (49) each contributed to the team score.

 

Lee was led by David Carlino with a 44. Joey Abderhalden was just behind with a 45, and John Brighenti birdied the par-4 fifth hole on his way to a 49.

 

Lee (0-3) goes to Hoosac Valley on Friday.

 

Monument Mountain (2-1) hosts Lenox on Friday.
