Monument Mountain Golfers Top Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Liam Trask carded a 42 on Thursday to earn medalist honors and lead the Monument Mountain golf team to a 179-211 win over Mount Everett at Wyantenuck Country Club.

 

Greg Kay, Paul Naventi and Mike Rave rounded out the scoring for the Spartans.

 

Simon Fife finished at 50 to lead the Eagles (0-2), who got rounds of 51 from Gabe Fahey and Finn Vion.

 

Vion finished his day with a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole.

 

Mount Everett goes to Wahconah on Friday. Monument Mountain (1-1) travels to Lee on Tuesday.
