Monument Mountain Swims Past Taconic Hills

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Zoe Holmes and Keeghan Kline each won a pair of events Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain girls swim team to a 98-68 win over Taconic Hills at Berkshire South.

 

Holmes won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 14.75 seconds, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.87.

 

Line took first in the 200 individual medley (2:33.04) and 100 butterfly (1:08.01).

 

The Spartans’ boys won an uncontested meet against Taconic Hills, 79-0.

 

Greg Kay and Quinn Dillon each was a double-winner swimming against his teammates.

 

Dillon won the 200 free (2:12.69) and 100 breaststroke (1:09.36).

 

Kay took the 50 free (29.81) and 500 free (8:36.62).

 

Monument Mountain goes to Bennington, Vt., to face Mount Anthony on Monday.
