Kirsimagi Leads St. Joe Girls Swimmers to Victory

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Theresa Kirsimagi won the 100-yard butterfly and the 500 freestyle Wednesday to lead the St. Joseph girls swimming team to a 53-33 win over New Lebanon, N.Y.

 

Kirsimagi posted a time of 1 minute, 8.13 seconds in the butterfly and 6:42.98 in the 500.

 

St. Joe also picked up individual wins from Jessie Tobin in the 200 free (2:01.62), Ellie Field in the 200 individual medley (2:32.53), Kendra Gallagher in the 50 free (29.69), Kate Bernardy in the 100 free (1:09.39) and Elizabeth Bartlett in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.74).

 

New Lebanon’s Allison Ryder won the 100 backstroke in 1:11.44.

 

St. Joseph’s boys defeated New Lebanon, 37-6, behind wins from Michael Losado and Bailey DiSanti.

 

Losado won the 200 free in 2:07.42. DiSanti won the 100 free in :59.63.
