St. Joe Girls, Boys Top Mount Anthony

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Liz Bernardy, Jessie Tobin and Emma Whitney each won two events to lead the St. Joseph girls swimming team to a 55-39 win over Mount Anthony on Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club.

 

Bernardy won the 200-yard freestyle (2:14.9) and 100 breast stroke (1:14.9). Tobin won the 50 free (26.4) and 100 free (58.5). Whitney won the 100 butterfly (1:11.0) and 100 back (1:06.8) as the Crusaders stayed unbeaten in dual meets this winter.

 

The St. Joe boys topped the Patriots, 50-42.

 

Bailey Disanti was a triple winner for St. Joseph, taking first in the 200 individual medley (2:46.5), 100 fly (1:08.4) and 100 breast stroke (1:20.7).

 

St. Joseph hosts Pittsfield on Friday.
