Mount Greylock Boys Lacrosse Wins in Shutout

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Michael McCormack scored five goals and assisted on five more to lead the Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team to a 19-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Saturday.
 
The Mounties led 10-0 after the first quarter and never looked back in improving to 6-1 this season.
 
Liam Chenail scored four goals, and Cole Hughes and Ross Burnham added two goals apiece.
 
Cal Filson made six saves in the Mount Greylock goal to get the shutout win.
 
Ryan Bartlett stopped 13 shots for the Hurricanes before Cam Alibozek stepped in to make two saves on five shots on goal.
 
Mount Greylock is home on Monday against Monument Mountain.
